ASALH Second Annual Scholarship Luncheon
The Tampa Bay Branch of ASALH, the Association for the Study of African American Life and History, is proud to announce their is being held on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the Rusty Pelican. Our featured speaker is Dr. Walter L. Smith on Black Education in America, Then and Now. The doors open at 1:30 PM and the program is from 2 – 4 PM. Please come out and support us as we raise funds to offer scholarships and to promote an understanding of the richness of Our Story.
